A new iPhone 2.0?

The Apple’s iPhone is definitely phenomenal. It has been sold about 4 million units to date. But seems it is unlikely to meet satisfaction. Analyst at Wall Street predicts that by the beginning of 2008, iPhone has been sold about 5 million, which the reality doesn’t speak so.

DoCoMo in talk for launching Google’s Android

Well, since there is deadlock in “bringing iPhone to Japan” conversation, DoCoMo turns their shot to Google’s open handset, Android. As DoCoMo is one of founding member of Open Handset Alliance, the talk is probably resulting much easier.

New Sony Ericsson Radio series

Asides from new new T-series, Sony Ericsson also launched 2 new Radio series handsets in India. It is not part of Ericsson’s R series who once famous. R here means Radio. The capability of this series is playing AM radio (and of course FM) in the phones. The first one is R300 and second one is R306. These phones consider as low-budget phones as part of Sony Ericsson campaign on taking low-end market.

NSN with Indonesian’s Global Mediacom is its biggest mobile TV agreement

Global Mediacom, one of the largest Indonesian media group, agree to adopt Nokia Siemens Network solution on bringing mobile TV to Indonesian commercial world in the first half of 2008. The technology is based on Digital Video Broadcast-Handheld (DVB-H) and will be the NSN’s biggest mobile TV agreement worldwide.

Sony Ericsson’s new phones are going to be announced in India

After announcing 3 new phones in CES Las Vegas, Sony Ericsson keeps launching new phone. Thanks to “make up” team, the Sweden-Japanese manufacturer will launch new version of best-buy in low end series, T270 and T280, today in India. With form based of T250, the phones will target cheap phone market in Asia. Other than that, predicted that Sony Ericsson will launch 2 other phones, currently no word.

New color of Sony Ericsson K770

After Sandy Beige, Truffle Brown, and Ultra Violet, Sony Ericsson K770 has been completed with two new colors. The first is Henna Bronze and the second is Soft Black. Hopefully this additional colors will boost the selling of slim cyber-shot phone. As we know, K770 is being equipped with same camera as the mighty K800 (with no xenon flash and BestPic), but in slimmer form (14 mm).

Besides the unique body design, 7900 also bring “living” wallpapers, which change dynamically taking into account the time of day, and the battery and signal strength status thus creating unique graphics for your home screen. Samsung vs LG marketing strategy

The two Korean powerhouses, Samsung and LG, apparently have different marketing strategy in gaining market share. While Samsung Electronics has yet to fix the date of its annual “Global Strategic Meeting” where chief executives of its key local and overseas units gather to discuss business plans, LG Electronics has held its internal meetings as planned.
