Fujitsu cellphone for children

Japan biggest telecom company, DoCoMo, in coordination with electronic manufacturer, Fujitsu, launch brand new cellphone for kids, F801i. The F801i comes in a series of bright colors and includes other kid-friendly features like access to online gaming. The phone is specifically designed to help keep kids safe.

NTT DoCoMo profit drops 20%

The press conference held by NTT DoCoMo revealed the drop in net profit compared to last year result. Due to the price war with its competitor, KDDI and SoftBank, the company revised its sales forecast for the full year.

NTT DoCoMo Develops 3G FOMA Handsets

NTT DoCoMo and its eight regional subsidiaries have announced the newly developed 3G FOMA SA702i and SO702i handsets, the latest additions to the FOMA 702i series. Like other 702i handsets, the two models offer regular FOMA features such as videophone and Deco-mail, and also i-channel, which automatically delivers news, weather, entertainment, sports and horoscopes via teletype to the standby screen. Japan's premier mobile communications company, NTT DoCoMo, provides wireless voice and data communications to tens of millions of subscribers.
