3GWeek Rumor: iPhone to be launched with 3G in Europe

Rumor spreads out that iPhone that will be launched in Europe is going to be equipped with 3G. News came from SevenClick, referring to Spanish newspaper El Pais. The newspaper said that Telefonica, Spain biggest operator who also owns O2, will ship iPhone with 3G on May 2008. The release in Spain will take place prior to that in the UK, Germany and France. Telefónica, Nokia open the door to mobile internet

This is a landmark co-operation brings open access to services. Telefónica and Nokia today announced they are working together to accelerate the adoption of new Internet services on mobile devices by providing Telefónica customers with easy access to both Telefónica and Nokia Internet services. The collaboration includes areas such as menu customization, technology and billing co-operation.
