Next Sharp’s sharp target are India and Indonesia
Yoshisuke Hasegawa, group general manager of Sharp’s communication systems group as reported by Reuters said to reporters in China that they want to expand their cellphone business to India and Indonesia as well. Not only in China!

This must be another clever way made by Singaporean. ST Telemedia, telecom company owned by Temasek holding, agreed to sell all their shares in Indosat (NYSE: IIT, IDX: ISAT) to Middle East’s Qatar Telecom. The transaction, involving 40.8% shares of second largest Indonesian telecommunication company, valued US$ 1.8 billion in total.

Indonesia’s newest GSM and 3G’s operator, AXIS, launches today the new prepaid tariff for data usage: Rp0.1 per Kb for the first 10 Mb every day.
