Can you believe this phone is a HSDPA phone? The phone is quite wierd for me. It looks more like kitchen utensil than a phone. It has no camera, send MMS, or email. Still, this Japan made–Toshiba G450–has plenty to offer.

Toshiba tried to re-branding its well-known Portege to new smartphones. Powered by long time partner Microsoft’s Windows Mobile, this small computer will likely be Nokia’s communicator form factor. The series named G920 and G910 respectively.

Toshiba plan to unveil its latest 920T phone. It will be a 3G sliding phone and equipped with built-in 1 GB memory. Another features are 1seg support, 3.24 megapixels camera, GPS function, and up to 5.3 hours of recording time. The phone will only available in Japan market.

Opera announced that KDDI, one of Japan’s mobile operators, will equipped Opera Widget into its new “au” handsets, Toshiba W56T, Sony Ericsson W54S, and Sanyo W54SA. It is the first widget implementation for mobile technology. The widget is branded “au one Gadget”.

Japan’s mobile operator SoftBank unveiled 10 new models to compete with other operator. Among those new models, 7 are coming from Sharp alone. The operator formerly known as Vodafone prepares the collection for winter 2007 when then sales usually raises up during Christmas and Year End.
