Sony Ericsson unveiled 3 new handsets

As being informed before, Sony Ericsson unveiled 3 new products, K660, W890, and W380 in London, UK. “Sony Ericsson’s vision is to offer ‘Generation Web’ a mobile internet experience that’s rich, user-friendly and satisfying,” says Martin Winkler, Head of Web Marketing at Sony Ericsson.
He refers to K660 as an HSDPA-enabled phone with clever features like illuminated shortcut keys that only become active when surfing the Net, and desktop tickers that provide regular updates from your favourite websites. K660 is campaigned as “Web for Youth”, where the phone are web-optimised (Landscape Browsing and Shortcut Keys) for easy surfing, having HSDPA for fast surfing, email and download, also Google Maps for Mobile feature.

Other two are new Walkman line ups. W890 is thin sophisticated phone designed as the successor of successful W880. It has feature SensMe, just like W910, that can choose music that match your mood. The phone can store up to 1800 music tracks in their 2 GB memory. Completed with 3.2 megapixels camera and slim body, W890 fulfills music connoisseurs who demand the latest Walkman features and HSDPA fast downloads, said Ben Padley, Head of Music Marketing at Sony Ericsson.

The last one is clamshell phone. It has Walkman controls on top, make you see what’s playing without open the phone. Also available “Gesture Control” that mute calls or silence the alarm with wave of your hand. The phone will focus on the needs of young, fashion-conscious music lovers. All phones will be available Q1 2008.
