Nokia wants to be a king in China. Again!
Nokia had made a deal with China Postel to sell $2 billion worth of handsets and mobile devices in China for 2008 season. Down from $2,5 billion contract in 2007. Anyway, this is not because China Postel want to slow down Nokia penetration, indeed it’s because the price of the cell phone itself which have fall down.
In this country, Nokia has become a leader in mobile phone market since 2004. Sales in China alone contribute 13% of Nokia’s global sales, that’s about $9,9 billon. Yeah …. finnish (king) never stop. Your country will be next. Be careful! Source: Forbes.
