Nokia Tube takes on the iPhone!

Finally, Nokia is getting ready to release a new handset codenamed “Tube” which will be their first touch device.
Yes it seems to be a fierce contender for the Apple iPhone.
Tom Libretto, vice president of Forum Nokia, said at a recent Evans Data developer conference that the device will be able to upload photos to the web, indicating either built-in Wi-Fi or HSDPA connectivity.
The handset will have Java built in as standard, something the iPhone lacks.
It’s reported that this handset also supports the DVB-H mobile TV standard for Europe and mobile video.
Can the Finnish phone maker against Apple in the touch phone area?
It seems it’s not really a big deal for Nokia.

Libretto, opens his mouth and blabs about their ability to ship in volumes greater than that of Apple’s doohickey. He thinks the 5 to 6 million devices shipped by Apple is nothing compared to what they can do.
“We’ve done that [volume] since we’ve had dinner on Friday,” he said.
No details have been revealed about release date or prices.

Thanks for your comment Matt, unfortunately I’ve never touch or see it directly so I can’t take a same conclusion like you did.
However, iPhone isn’t the matter of touch screen tough. What make iPhone top and tough is its design and the OS. That’s the two which make iPhone ….. “WOW”!
