Taiwanese ODM Compal Communications Inc. (CCI) is developing a 3G cellular videophone/PDA running Windows Mobile 5.0, according to Radvision, the supplier of a 3G-324M protocol toolkit to CCI. The new 3G handheld will include an “advanced” video application that lets users subscribe to video conferences and participate in video communities, Radvision says.

South Korea’s LG Electronics Inc. has unveiled a 3G music phone equipped with Bluetooth, the company said in a statement Tuesday (April 18).
