We all know the first quarter reports this year were not Sony Ericsson’s big achievement. The second quarter, which will be announced on July 18 is no better. Compared to last year performance, Sony Ericsson goes deeply into profit warning.

I used to know that Maria Sharapova is a Motorola’s brand endorser. Anyway, I still do not know yet when has the contract over. Just for a quick information here, this tennis princess is now endorsing Sony Ericsson, Motorola competitor, with her Maria Sharapova Design Collection of custom cell phone accessories.

I don’t know why Sony Ericsson do a move like this, but media said that the Japan-Sweden is going to cancel two upcoming phones, G702 (also known as Beibei) and P5 (codenamed Paris). Se-nse editor said, the reason behind that is criticism from reviewers, including the one made by Mobile-Review.

As we have predicted before, Sony Ericsson launched several new products in CommunicAsia-Singapore, of which our managing editor also attending there. The Japan-Sweden manufacturer unveiled not only one or two series, but 5 new series! They range from S, C, K, J to F series.

Yet another series of Sony Ericsson. S series, focus on low-res phone result, will be second line of Cyber-shot phones (C series). As the first phone in S line up, we will find S302. The positioning is quite like K250. Great in design, quite good camera, with quite cheap in price tag.
