Sony Ericsson and RIM, yesterday announced its new agreement. They agree to bundle Blackberry Connect software 4.0 into Sony Ericsson P1i in Asia Pacific. The tools will be preloaded in Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

As camera, mobile TV now trigger higher cellphone selling in Japan. First mobile TV service was launched by the One-Seg digital terrestrial TV broadcasting started in April 2006. As per July 2007, the accumulated shipment for mobile TV phone reaches 11.77 million units.

Disney, number 2 in entertainment business in US, is trying their luck by entering Japan market next year. They plan to release Mickey Mouse phone and mobile content with cooperation with Softbank, third largest Japan operator. The plain aims to target 1 million families with little children.

Kyocera announced the launch its new line up W54K for KDDI’s au service. It features 2.7 inch LCD (Wide QVGA) and supports mobile TV. If you turn the slim phone horizontally, it will start running the TV display.
