Java with Flash; Aha, wouldn’t it beautiful like this?

Are you one of the people out there imagining a mobile app which have the power of Sun Java 2 ME (Mobile Edition) and Adobe Flash at the same time? If yes, then this news perhaps can be an oasis for you.

Ulf Wretling, director of Sony Ericsson Developer World said that the combination of both technologies will enabling users to enjoy the nice user interface from Flash and robust yet rich API (Application Programming Interface) from Java.

SE plans to release this technology in a set of APIs that come together with its Software Development Kit in the second half of this year. Hmmm, that should be around June or July. If this is gonna be true than I bet you won’t have much time to implement it on your app for the Golden Olive Award which close in June 26. Oh no, that’s just too bad.
