Friendster (desktop) via mobile device? Try anonymous proxy!
Hey, are you still wondering not be able to access Friendster fully (desktop version) in your mobile device? People said that it has returned to normal condition. But as I tried to access the site via Opera Mini, I find that it still refers me to Friendster Mobile page. Has anyone can fully confirmed whether he/she has managed to access Friendster desktop page in his/her mobile devices?
In the mean time, why don’t we try another way on accessing Friendster using our phone/PDA. We are lucky enough that our readers have given lot of suggestions. One of them is Kei9. Thanks to him (or her?), we are able to access my Friendster desktop page in my phone. I have tested myself using Opera Mini and it works like charm! What is the secret? There is no secret actually. The use of anonymous proxy makes it happened.
What is this all about? An anonymous proxy server (sometimes called a web proxy) generally attempts to anonymize web surfing. These can easily be overridden by site administrators, and thus rendered useless in some cases.Thus, we are able to indirectly access Friendster desktop page without being redirected to the mobile version again. How to do it? Here is the step-by-step guidance:
- Go to http://www.quickbrowsing.com. It is one web proxy that is proven to bypass Friendster Mobile version. Maybe readers can report if there is other web proxy that also works.
- Unmark “Include mini URL form” and “Remove client-side scripts” checkboxes and mark the rests (remember unmark the top 2 and mark the others)
- Enter http://www.friendster.com in the textfield and click “Browse”
Voila! The Friendster original page is showing up! Don’t forget to bookmark the page for next visit (since if you view the page properties, it will reveal “alienated link” which cannot be remembered). At least for now, you don’t have to worry about managing comments and testimonials in your own Friendster page.
Friendster publisher, have you reckoned how hard we try to access our own Friendster page via mobile devices?

hi.. without that proxy now..i can log in friendster desktop version as usual.. its back normal..when i give more messages(send feedback) to friendster mobile..

No need for anonymous proxy or something like that now. Hheheheh.. I’ve tried it but i didn’t make it. I found the Friendster Classic link at the help page. The link to the help page itself can be found below the login form at the mobile site of Friendster. Hhoho.. hope this information can help you all.

you can also use anonymous proxy from anonymouse, please go to http://www.anonymouse.org/anonwww.html you just fill in the address and browse…

You can use free proxy list from anonymouslist.com to surf anonymously.
