Fresh: Sony Ericsson T700

The T610 remake (also known as Remi) finally being officially announced as Sony Ericsson T700. Created by Sony Ericsson–the Japan-Sweden manufacturer–it is claimed as slim elegance phone, a successor of previous T650. It is only 10 mm thin with 79 grams in weight. Not as thin and light as W880, but definitely better than T650.
Besides good form factor, T700 is equipped with:
- Tetraband GSM and HSDPA network
- 3.2 megapixels camera
- 2 inch screen display
- 25 MB internal memory
- 512 MB M2 memory stick
- High quality stereo speakers

The phone will be available in Black on Silver, Black on Red and Shining Silver from Q4 2008. Looks like a good christmas present! Yet, it lacks of camera’s autofocus and of course, people may get bored of its candybar form factor. It is predicted that will cost you less than EUR 200.

I love my iphone, but prior to that I was all SE phones.
This is the kind of industrial design I’ve always imagined reading William Gibson’s Sprawl trilogy.
An Ono-Sendai would totally have buttons like that.
